Let the Games Begin!

We have entered the Coliseum and have inspected the grounds, watched some of our competition, and tested our chariot…. and, we like what we have found!  Yes, we’re back at it, another season.  2014 starts this weekend for us with a Two Hour Endurance Race this Sunday in the #96, 2012 Camaro.  We’re excited and we’re ready.

clip_image002_0021It’s difficult to believe that the new season is already upon us as it seems as though the last one just ended.  The three months of down time goes by so fast because, well,  there really isn’t any down time as we take the winter months to prep the cars for the new season.

During the winter months, in fact, just last weekend we learned that the Life’s Good Racing!TMCrew Chief, Chris Hovey, won “USTCC 2013 Crew Chief of the Year Award”.  This is both a fantastic honor and a well deserved recognition as Chris not only lead a team consisting of upwards of 15 crew members at larger events, he performed exceptionally, even when faced with tremendous adversity.  Chris is a guy who exemplifies the team’s “never say quit” attitude and, as a result, produced great results by providing the drivers with solid, well performing cars.  Congratulations Chris!

Back to 2014.  We’re entering this new year with four cars and a new driver, Mario Lento, who will be piloting the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart in US Touring Car Championships.  The first event for that series is in April in Buttonwillow, Calif.   Prior to then, we have multiple events involving our #96 Camaro this weekend in the WERC Enduro, Time Trials (TT) in the #69 Camaro starting next month in Sonoma during which we’ll also be competing in Super Unlimited (SU) in the #96 Camaro.  Additionally, we might have a new driver for the BMW M3, and possibly even another car OR TWO!

Yes, we have lots going on at Life’s Good Racing!TM .

You can stay on top off all that’s going on daily with our updates on Facebook at Life’s Good Racing!TM , on Instagram, and here on our website.
